Terms of Service
Effective July 9, 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of the Verisaf website and certification services, provided by Verisaf LLC (“Verisaf,” “we,” “our,” “us”). By using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Verisaf provides an online intake, review, and issuance service for ISO management-system certification. You provide information about your business and management system; we use that information to issue certificates as described below.
2. Types of certificates
- Provisional certificate (free): a self-declared certificate generated instantly on completion of the online intake and electronic declaration. It is not accredited, is valid for 7 days, and is intended to indicate that you have started the certification process. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
- Issued certificate: a certificate reviewed and issued by Verisaf based on the information and, where required, documentation you submit.
- Accredited certificate: a certificate issued following an independent review under our accredited certification processes.
The presence of a provisional or issued certificate does not by itself confirm accredited status. Public verification of a certificate’s type, status, and validity is available at /verify.
3. Your responsibilities
- You must be authorised to act on behalf of the company you register.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information. Misrepresentation may result in suspension or withdrawal of any certificate.
- You must not use the service to deceive third parties, misrepresent your certification status, or use a certificate outside its stated scope, standard(s), or validity.
- You will keep your contact and account details up to date and maintain the confidentiality of any credentials.
4. Electronic signature
By submitting the declaration, you agree that your typed name and electronic act constitute a legally binding signature under applicable electronic signature laws, and that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
5. Fees and refunds
Provisional certificates are free. Any paid certificate is billed at the price shown at checkout. Payment terms and refund conditions for paid certificates will be presented at the point of purchase and form part of these Terms.
6. Suspension and withdrawal
We may suspend or withdraw a certificate and terminate access to the service if you materially breach these Terms, provide false information, misuse a certificate, or if required by law or an accreditation body. Where practicable, we will notify you first.
7. Intellectual property
The Verisaf name, logo, wordmark, certificate design, and website content are our intellectual property. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to display any certificate we issue to you, in unaltered form, for legitimate business purposes, within its scope and validity period.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. A provisional certificate does not constitute accredited certification and should not be represented as such.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Verisaf will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Verisaf harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of a certificate, or your violation of applicable law.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Verisaf LLC is organised, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
